Oooh.

Fells Point Corner Theater is doing, among other plays, Take Me Out, The Sisters Rosensweig, and Side Man this season. (Yeek, they're also doing Pinter, but I won't hold that against them.)

And they're less than a mile from my house.

The only down side is that I can't seem to find an amateur Shakespeare group.

I love the Rudes.  But the hour commute each way? Not so much.

I must admit I did a Pinter piece in school and really loved it...but then again, it could have been because it was a good acting piece.
I don't know that many on which to judge any further ;)

No worries--I won't hold it against you. :)

My main issue with Pinter is how he infuses his work with a sense of unreality that shakes me out of my suspension of disbelief. For example, in The Homecoming (see link in comment above), I'm with Pinter right up until the point the brother from the States shows up with his heretofore unknown wife in the middle of the night. It's like the man stands up on a chair saying "Look how surrealistic and unusual I am!"

Long story short, he's got all the subtlety of a lead anvil.
