awesome idea. my mom actually went with a short pixie/boy cut after having me. the only time in her life that i can recall her doing so. and while longer hair was a better look for her (srsly, woman has great hair), you just can't argue with its new mommy functionality. so i'd say the shorter the better, and while i don't have a cut, we have an awesome stylist we'd recommend, if you find yourself up for a schlep to dc. also, after all our LJ shenanigans, i think i owe you and tor a drink of your choice. =)
