2005 in Review

Yeah, I know. We're nearly two weeks into 2006 at this point. But this was the best of the memes floating around out there and I only just now stumbled across it in tyhallmark's journal.

Good News and Bad News...

The good news is that I've essentially been taken on to the HCCC English Department Adjunct Faculty.

The bad news is that they don't have any classes for me to teach.

Yet. Something usually happens last minute and someone has to step out of a class. Hopefully, it'll be a TTH class and I'll be able to step in.

For now, I'm warming the bench. The saddest part of all this is that even if I get a class at HCCC and the 3rd class at PGCC works out, adjuncting still pays less than my graduate assistantship. I know I'll be happier, et cetera, but I can't help worrying about the financial situation...
