i wrote a big long "it's not you, it's me" reply, but i'm taciturn enough when it comes to picking my battles (and the doorsteps to bring them to) i'd say it sounds like the filter will actually tell the difference for us.

FWIW, this post actually got me to read the comments on the previous one... heh. Y'know, I'm not surprised. I really don't believe "Pope" is a title one gets through some good ol' cardinal network. Can't get there without being a pretty good guy.

As far as this filter, I'd like to be included because I'm particularly interested in the times you are struggling with something the Church is doing. I ultimately decided not to practice due to negative experiences, so seeing you "fight the good fight" is heartening and reminds me that maybe I should think about returning as an adult that can work for positive change.
