Writers and such...
I am, at best, an interested onlooker in the world of comics. I owe most of what I know to my gaming group and husband. I don't read anything on a regular basis, although I try to remember to haul myself to the comic store for Buffy: Season Eight, Angel: Season Six, and Fables (![[info]](https://stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif)

That being said, I find this essay on the recent continuity rollback of Spiderman absolutely facinating, even though I don't actually read the comic. I'm interested in what the more comic book-literate of my friendslist thinks about it.
I do know that I've witnessed the same phenomena in "regular" fiction writers, such as Mercedes Lackey and Laurell K. Hamilton.
