Here I am, trying to write a very intense scene where Giles just completely dresses down Andrew.

And now I have the Chicken Dance running through my head. Oy.

Thanks for the well wishes, everybody. I'm doing better. It was just a terrible shock. The fuzzy little dork, on the other hand, doesn't even know anything's different. *roll eyes*

They don't, most of the time. It's a blessing, and a curse, because you're never sure when too much is occurring.

We only get to love them here for a little while, but I do believe in an afterlife. As Will Rogers said, if dogs (and cats)don't go to heaven, then when I die, I want to go where they do.

What about the Neutron Dance? The scene from the Eddie Murphy Detroit cop movie where he's dangling and bouncing from the back of the truck while Neutron Dance is playing?

I tell you, twenty years or more, I hear that zone and I start laughing hysterically. And I'm not even that fond of Eddie Murphy.
