1. What is your SCA Name? Ainbthen ingen Seigine
2. What time and where do you portray? 12th century Irish
3. In plain English describe your device. Silver background, with three green Brigid's crosses arranged vertically
4. How long have you been in the SCA? Officially? Um, 2004. But I've been hanging around the periphery since about 1996.
5. Do you have any special titles you have earned? Does protege count?
6. What kingdom and local group do you belong to? None--I'm a free agent. :)
7. Do you have preferred colors for your SCA Persona? Blue, green, and gray/silver.
8. What is your war that you look forward to going to every year? I have not yet been to a war.
9. Do you hold any offices? Nope, aside from head bottle washer whenever Gruffudd ap Cadfael does a feast. :)
10. Favorite memory from an event? The impromptu protege ceremony at Chalice of the Sun God in 2005.
11. Are you a fighter? What kind? Not at this time. However, I'm not ruling out getting involved in fencing in order to help get into shape once The Girl is big enough.
12. Are you crafty (making things)? I knit, dabble with herbs, and embroider, but haven't actually produced anything documentable yet.. I'm more of an academic medievalist.
13. Do you teach classes at events? Not yet..
14. Do you play instruments at events? That would require being proficient enough to play an instrument, period. :)
15. Do you dance at events? I'd love to, but have only done so once, so far.
16. Do you feel that there is enough flirting and chivalrous behavior in the SCA? Sure there is. You just have to know where to go look for it.
17. Are you a "Black Hat" or a "White Hat"? Huh?
18. What is one of the reasons you've remained in the SCA? Friends.
19. What peerage(s) do you aspire to? None. Obscurity suits me quite well.
20. Who was Crown when you joined the SCA? Good lord I'd have to go look that up.
21. If you are a Peer, who was the Crown that elevated you? Not a peer.
22. Have you lived in more than 1 kingdom and which ones? Since officially registering, I've always lived in Atlantia. But over the years I've been involved, I've also lived in Ansteorra and the East.
23. Have you helped found a group? No.
24. Have you had any house affiliations? Yep. Gruffy, have we actually managed to name the household yet?

::wry sheepish grin:: I *did* go look it up. I knew who the various Crowns were at about that time, but not precisely enough off the top of my head. That's what databases are for, after all! :-)
