The Electric Company is back!
Having read this review, I'm a little apprehensive. It sounds like they developed a brand new show and slapped the (for me, at least) iconic title on it. But we'll see.

Date: 2009-01-21 07:28 pm (UTC)From:I found the original Electric Company shows far more entertaining once I was in college and beyond; I didn't need the help learning to read when I was in 3rd grade... but once I had absorbed more of early and mid 20th century pop culture, I came to appreciate what TEC was beyond the "reading" aspect: it was perhaps the finest pop-culture satire of the era.
